Overnight protest calls for release of Oakland Co. student detained after not doing homework
A youth-led group of activists organized an overnight demonstration Wednesday to protest the detention of a 15-year-old high school student who has been held in a juvenile facility since mid-May for violating probation when she didn't complete her online schoolwork during the coronavirus pandemic.
