Clinical social worker appointed as new director of Ingham County youth detention center
LANSING — The new director of the Ingham County Youth Center wants it to seem less like detention and more like rehabilitation.
Annette Ellison, a clinical social worker by trade, said her hiring speaks to the court's dedication to rehabilitating children, not just detaining and punishing them.
